Our top 3 Easter camps packed with egg-citing activitiesTom Swainston
Already wondering what to do during the Easter holiday’s? Don’t worry, we’ve got some egg-citing (sorry) activities and camps the little ones will love.
This easter, we’ve packed our camps full of fun, the perfect go-to for half term kids activities. Not only do they provide flexible childcare for parents during school holidays (you can book a single day or a full week), but they also include active learning and help children develop essential life skills such as independence, adaptability and enhanced confidence. Here’s our top 3 camps as voted by our team for this easter.
1. Our Multi Activity Camps are just egg-cellent.
For those aged 5-14 years, who love variety, the Multi Activity Camp covers a wide range of fun and engaging activities with team challenges to boot. Multi-activity kids clubs are perfect if your child is into casual sports; they can explore various types including kwik cricket, tag rugby or football. Kids favourite (and on trend) activities are always a feature too – we never get through a camp without a game (or five) of the floor is lava or a scavenger hunt (or two). We’re on top of the latest trends, so can give the kids exactly what they’ll love – after all this time on camp, is devoted to them.
Our multi-activity camps are also the best camps for the creative children – those who love to explore arts and crafts will enjoy this the most. Fun and engaging, we have a variety of creatively minded projects on offer! Let them egg-plore (sorry, again) their own fun and personal designs but will learn about the art of patterns, layout and formation along the way.
And of course, Easter wouldn’t be Easter without an egg drop, a team activity that helps to build confidence and teamwork. You can be sure that every day is different and offers fun learning and allows children a taste of different ventures during the days.
2. Easter sports camps that will have the kids going egg-static.
If your kids are dead set on an easter sports camp, then you’re at the right place. We’re a UK leading provider for all things sport, including development coaching camps like our Cricket Academy and Netball Fever. Our team of high-quality coaches skilled in development coaching twinned with inspiring stars is really not to be missed.
New this year, The Girls Cricket Club is a place for female cricketers, built by girls, for girls, to share knowledge, resources, inspiration and opportunities. Founded by England cricket legend Lydia Greenway, the Girls Cricket Club is about creating opportunities for development both on and off the field and providing resources specific to girls and women to support them on their sporting journey.
Are your kids a little competitive? Our sports camps always feature daily challenges that help satisfy egg-sactly that! (Really?). Crazy Catch, the world’s number one training aid is a primary sponsor of our camps and offers at least two challenges a day!
3. New and egg-stremely popular – a cooking camp, Let’s Cook.
…Will someone have a word with the copywriter?
We love Let’s Cook! It is a cookery project where junior chefs aged 7-14 can come to learn about and explore most people’s favourite subject – food!
If you have an enthusiastic Chef at home, our cooking camp offers children a chance to learn fun yet valuable life skills within the kitchen, learning about how to be safe in a kitchen environment alongside other inspiring cooks. Children learn basic and intermediate cooking skills to express their culinary creativity.
As well as the cooking sessions, chefs also explore the connection between food and mood, food miles and budgeting in our food education sessions.
It’s worth noting that all Let’s Cook recipes are NUT FREE but they may include ingredients produced in facilities with “traces of” nuts, seeds or alcohol.
Inspiring children to beat at their best every day at Easter Camp.
An important part of our ethos at not just Easter Camp, but at Summer Camp any other camp we offer is our commitment to creating the best camp environment possible for children to develop – inspiring children to be at their best every day – with a one child from each group gaining the be at your best award for being at their best on camp.
“We’re so enthusiastic about helping children develop, we want them to achieve whilst on camp and encourage them to be at their best – not only in sport, but also at things like being kind.”
