Performance Cricket
Want to experience what it takes to train like an elite cricketer?
Performance Cricket is a 3-night residential camp for cricketers aged 10–17 years, taking place at Lord Wandsworth College, RG29 1TB, from 5th–8th August 2026.
This high-performance programme offers aspiring county, district, and school first team cricketers the chance to train with elite coaches, alongside like-minded individuals. Across three days, players will develop technical skills, develop game-sense, engage in cricket strength and conditioning, and learn about sports nutrition and recovery strategies.
The coaches
Expert Cricket Academy Coaches
Performance Cricket will be delivered by expert coaches from The Cricket Academy, led by a Level 3 Head Coach with extensive experience in player development.
Across the residential, players will benefit from high-level technical and tactical coaching, small-group learning, and player-specific development sessions. The coaching team is supported by staff who are all enhanced DBS checked, NGB qualified, and trained in safeguarding and welfare.
As a special highlight, the camp will also include a STAR VISIT from a current or former professional cricketer. During the visit, players will take part in a coaching session led by the athlete and enjoy an exclusive Q&A, gaining insights into elite cricket, performance mindset, and what it takes to progress to the highest levels.
