Welcome to The Loughborough Schools Foundation
It is incredible to think that parents and pupils have been welcomed here since 1495 with the opening of the Grammar School within Loughborough’s Parish Church.
In the ensuing five hundred plus years we have come a long way, but without ever losing sight of our pedigree, our commitment to serve Loughborough and the wider community, and our steadfast beliefs to balance academic achievement with moral guidance, happiness, opportunity and a kindred spirit within which everyone is known, understood and valued.
We believe, with some justification, that there really is nowhere quite like it in independent education. We are a progressive, charitable Foundation comprised of a Nursery, two complementary Prep Schools and three highly achieving Senior Schools, equipped to meet many educational needs, including those who require extra support and care from six weeks old all the way to eighteen years of age.
