Multi Activity Camp weeks each have a fantastic theme which dictate the activities on display during the week!
We’re exploring the outdoors in Active Adventure!
With our nature themed outdoor activities you will learn a world of outdoor skills with our trained nature specialists. You’ll have the chance to discover creepy crawlies, learn about the natural beauty that surrounds us and become a mini Nature Specialist too.
You’ll also have the chance to get creative using natural materials found in the great outdoors, make natural crafts that help our wildlife and see what you can grow for yourself in your own home!
The GMA is a unique opportunity to experience and sample a variety of sports and activities themed around the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. The fun camp programme has been devised using expert input from leading athletes and coaches and has been broken down into relevant skills and games for different ages.
GMA exists to help children aged between 5-12 years old find sports and experiences they love and can develop using the Olympics and Commonwealth Games as their start point. All this is delivered in a fun and safe learning environment. Our GMA coaches have experience and qualifications from a spectrum of sports and activities.
Fun on Wheels delivers a multi activity camp with a difference, every day features at least one wheeled activity! Including a range from micro scooter time trial, human hungry hippos using the body boards, a special visit from cycling experts or any of our other fantastic wheeled activities.
Fun on Wheels activities compliment our Activate classics such as Capture the Flag, Jailbreak, Foxes & Hounds and Wacky Wet Wednesday to create a jam packed week of fun!
Each Multi Activity Camp also operates two curriculums, depending on the age and ability of the children taking part. There is a Junior Programme for 5-7 year olds and a Senior Programme for 8-12 year olds making sure that we deliver age appropriate sessions.
Activate Camps Staff are passionate about children leading a healthy lifestyle through sport and activities.
We have trained managers at every site who come from a variety of different backgrounds. We actively recruit primary school teachers, PGCE students, childcare professionals and highly qualified sports and activity staff in order to ensure that our camps are as safe and effective as possible and that we exceed the high standards set and expected by Ofsted.
We recognise the importance of health and safety and child welfare and as such we are the only provider of our kind that has training developed in partnership with Cardinus Risk Management and approved by the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management. All of our staff, whether they are an assistant coach or regional manager, take part in our approved online training.
All of our staff are DBS checked and have completed our own comprehensive recruitment and training to ensure we get the best staff to enthuse your children this holiday!
We take our responsibilities for the care of each child at our camps very seriously. This page is designed to provide all necessary and useful information for parents; from the timings of a typical day to our booking terms and conditions.
GOOD NEWS! We are planning to run camps this summer, as long as they are viable for all parties involved.
We are currently working hard to plan “what a camp looks like” over the summer paying close attention to:
The situation is ever changing but we expect the following restrictions and protocols to be in place:
We cannot predict the change in guidance before summer camps begin, but we will continue to adapt our programmes and protocols to match the most up to date Government instructions. This may result in a significantly different camp to the one currently advertised on the website but we will update you with the timetable prior to the camp beginning.
BOOK NOW to secure your place. If a camp cannot run due to Coronavirus, then we provide a FULL refund.
