We know that our camps provide a much-needed childcare solution for many families during the school holidays. We also know that the children attending our camps love the range of active and inspiring sports that we offer.
However, despite working hard to implement the current government guidelines, we still cannot guarantee that we will be given permission to open this summer, or that we will be able to follow all of the new government guidelines for camps - whilst also providing the high-quality, enjoyable experience that you have come to expect from us.
We are looking into the possibility of operating 90-minute coaching sessions, focussing on fitness and technical development in a chosen sport.
The health and safety of our children and staff has always been, and will continue to be, at the heart of everything we do. With this in mind, the potential coaching sessions would follow all relevant government and sporting governing body guidance, with the operation of ‘bubbles’ of up to five children per session, social distancing, frequent hand and equipment washing, and new procedures.
We hope to finalise and confirm whether this offering is possible in the coming days.
Please note that we do anticipate that camp prices will rise next year, however a credit note will secure your place for next year’s camp at our current 2020 prices.
We would like to thank you for your continued loyalty and support and look forward to welcoming you to a new coaching session or a future camps programme
In place of camps this summer, we are running 90 minute sports coaching sessions at selected venues (confirmed venues listed below). Sessions will run five days a week, with three different session start times each day.
The sessions are a great opportunity for children to receive top quality coaching in small groups developing their technical sporting ability, increasing their fitness levels and allowing them to interact with likeminded children.
We will be running outdoor sessions in cricket, netball, hockey, football and lacrosse. The sessions will include;
Every venue will operate the following time slots to ensure that we can deliver age appropriate and COVID safe sessions
Unfortunately due to the high level of technical coaching and increased levels of Covid measures we are not able to accept children under the age of 7.
The health and safety of our children and staff has always been, and will continue to be, at the heart of everything we do. With this in mind, these coaching sessions will follow all relevant government and sporting governing body guidance, with the operation of social distancing, frequent hand and equipment washing, and new operating procedures. We will provide a full update of procedures in place nearer the time when up to date national guidelines are in place. As it stands we are looking to implement the following;
