Every Netball Fever Camps features a Star Visit

Every Netball Fever star visit is different, but is centred around inspiring our girls and involving them with our Star. There is an opportunity during the star led coaching sessions to pick up coaching and technical tips as well as being able to see the star in action demonstrating their skills.

In addition each visit will feature a Q&A session allowing the girls to ask questions about the star visits experiences and career to date. This session will also include demonstrations and competitions where selected players can take on the star at their own game!

Add to this the opportunity to get autographs and selfies and the whole experience will leave the girls even more enthusiastic about their sport.

Each visit will last at least 2 hours and will involve the star in visiting and working with every group.

Our Netball Fever star visits will consist of current and former international players, current and former super league players as well as high level coaches.

We are delighted to welcome Tamsin Greenway as our new Ambassador and Head of Star Coaching.

Tamsin Greenway began her netball career in her hometown, Leicester, representing Leicestershire at both U16 and U18 level. She joined the University Of Bath High Performance Programme in 2001 where she went on to win 4 Super Cup and League titles with the TeamBath franchise.

In 2004 she gained her first International Cap and over the space of 11 years she gained 67 caps in total for England competing at 3 World Championships and 1 Commonwealth Games.

After the 2007 World Championships in Auckland, Tamsin was asked to sign for the Australian ANZ franchise the Queensland Firebirds. She played for 2 seasons, both in 2008 and 2009, and it was during this time she was also selected for the World team.

Returning to England in 2010 she signed for the brand new Surrey Strom Franchise. She played and captained for 2 years, before taking over as Player Coach in 2012. Over the course of 6 seasons, Storm reached 4 grand finals, finally being crowned Super League Champions in 2015.

In October 2015 Tamsin announced her retirement from the game and played her final charity testimonial match in front of a packed house at the Surrey Sports Park.

Off the court, Tamsin continues to work in Netball in many different roles and capacities. As an Elite Coach for England Netball heading up the INTC programme in London, for Surrey Storm as Director of Netball setting up and delivering elite and community coaching programmes, and as an ambassador for several brands including Gilbert and Mrs Crimbles. She also works for Sky Sports covering both Super League and International games.
